Here Colleen honed skills that would translate seamlessly to her future coaching career. “Helping creative people set goals and take the steps to actualize their dreams turned out to be my calling," she recounts. Prior to her career on the West coast, Colleen completed high school in Toronto, studying English and Drama at the University of Toronto. She later pursued Drama Studies at HB Studios in New York.
Growing up in an unconventional family environment, Colleen attended 13 different schools and lived in diverse locales such as Sausalito, CA, Taos, NM and Bowen Island, BC. “I had a lot of life experience at a young age and I am a survivor of that,” she explains. “I learned how to make lightning quick assessments of a situation and what the choices are, and to navigate my way through them. These skills are what my career has been based on.”
